Show jumping horses require accurate and dedicated care through out the day. The double white glass panes diffuses the light creating an uniform atmosphere. Wood curved ceilings helps bringing the light down evenly.
The light flood form the skylight has been calculated to deliver 300 lux permanently for 350 days a year. This will create the perfect working space for both grooms and horses that will spend great amount of time inside.
From the outside the barn looks akin those old barn structures found in southern chile.
The structure was prefab in glue lam beams in Los Angeles, Chile, brought to site and assembled in one and a half month.
A series of stone pircas where laid as retaining walls for the jumping arena.
